Start a file with your current month’s paystubs (30 day), current 2 yrs tax returns, 2 months bank statements, divorce decree (if this applies), & any credit explanations (if this applies). This is a good start, but prepared to gather any other pertinent information the representative may need during the loan process.

Make a list of items you are looking for in a home:

This will help your realtor choose the right homes to preview and allow you to make a clearer decision.

It will help your realtor inform you of any market conditions and pricing that you may need to understand before looking.

It will begin a solid communication level between your realtor and you.

Have a prequel letter prepared from your loan representative to strengthen your offer to the seller!!!!!
