Chili & Craft Festival - Saturday Nov 7th Smith Mtn Lake
November is here and so is the 7th Annual Fall Chili & Craft Festival on Saturday, November 7th at Bridgewater Plaza.
Savor the essence of Fall with ‘chili…just the way you like it’.
This will be the seventh Fall event sponsored by the Smith Mountain Lake Regional Chamber of Commerce and it captures the best of everything, with plenty of activity, great chili for tasting, musical entertainment, craft vendors, awards and a beautiful lakeside setting.
There’s an active schedule planned with cooking beginning at 10:00 AM, tasting at noon, judging at 2:00 PM, awards at 4:00 PM, and great fun for everyone all day long! The doors are open to the public from 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM.
The festival is located next to Halesford Bridge on Route 122 in Moneta. Don’t miss it!!

Lake Christian Ministries Fundraiser Event

The 2nd. annual fundraiser for Lake Christian Ministries will be held at Resurrection Catholic Church. Dinner will be catered by Making Trax of Bedford (Olde Liberty Station Restaurant). Entertainment will feature Musical Memories sung by Philip and Tara Bouknight, with accompaniment by pianist Melia Garber.
Tickets are $40.00 and will be on sale October 18 and 25 in the Trinity Ecumenical Parish Fellowship hall after each service. For additional information, please contact Martha Boschen at 540 297-1918
